Re-emergence

Approx. 1,900 recycled polystyrene pieces; dimensions variable

Thousands of white recycled polystyrene pieces transcend in the hands of the artist and the public to evoke the unstained Australian native Sacred Lotus flower growing from the mud. The installation intents to create a parallelism between humanity's progress towards a high state of consciousness and the Sacred Lotus/Nelumbo Nucifera's life cycle.
