223 Paper knots created on the Shinkansen from Kyoto to Hiroshima; dimensions variable

 

This public art intervention investigates the use of multiples as a tribute to Japan's inspiring culture. 

The work was created by the artist on the Shinkansen trip from Kyoto to Hiroshima and comprises 223 paper prayer knots.
